1. Almond & Maple Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:-

4½ cups almond milk

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

¼-1/3 cup pure maple syrup

½ (about 1.5 oz) dark chocolate bar (70% cacao or more), melted

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or 3-4 drops essential oil (optional)

Instructions:-

1. In a medium saucepan, heat milk over medium low heat until steam starts to rise from the surface. Add cocoa, sweetener, and melted chocolate and stir well.

2. Warm over medium low heat until all ingredients are combined and hot chocolate is to desired temp. Add vanilla or other flavoring and stir.

3. Serve warm and top with shredded dark chocolate or homemade maple whipped cream.


2. Hot Lemon Water

Hot lemon water has a different flavor but is great for the health. Hot water and lemon are said to clear the liver and kidneys of toxins. Looks like a great way to stay hot and healthy during winters. 

Ingredients:-

1 to 1 1/2 cups boiling water

Juice of 1/2 freshly squeezed lemon

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

Pinch red chili powder or cayenne 

Pinch raw cane sugar like Sucanat

Instructions:-

Mix in mug and stir well.


 3. Ginger Tea

Here comes the king of winters. Ginger !! Ginger has so many healing properties, so starting your day with a warm cup of ginger tea is a great idea, especially during winters. 

Ingredients:-

3 ounces thinly-sliced ginger root

1 cup water

Instructions:-

Boil and then strain. Add honey or sugar to taste. 


  4. Apple Cider With Cinnamon

You have surely heard that phrase, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.” So,lets make something healthy as well as tasty with the Apple Cider to make our winters better than ever before.

Ingredients:

1 cup cider and a cinnamon stick.

Instructions:-

Pour cider and add cinnamon stick.


 5. Hot Vanilla Chai Tea

The spices in chai tea have tons of health benefits, and it has more flavor than you can find anywhere . If you’re looking to a tasty and healthy alternate to tea, then you can surely try this one. Let’s get a bit hot, tasty and healthy combo.

Ingredients:-

2 cups water

2 peppercorns

3 cloves (whole)

⅛ tsp nutmeg

¼ tsp ground cardamom

¼ tsp ground ginger

1 cinnamon stick

2 black tea bags

1 Tbls brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup milk

Instructions:-

1. Combine water, peppercorns, cloves, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg and a cinnamon stick in a small saucepan.

2. Boil for at least five minutes.

3. Turn off the heat and place tea bags in water. Leave it for for 5-6 minutes.

4. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla.

5. Heat milk for 15 seconds on medium heat and stir into tea. 

6. Serve immediately.
