Superstar Rajnikanth’s one of the most awaited movie ‘Kaala’ is all set to release in 2018. But unfortunately the movie is not getting a positive response from the audience. Public has not gone down too well till now after the Tuticorin Protests after the Controversial statement made by the director PA Ranjith and the Supertstar Rajnikanth.
His statement that protests are turning Tamil Nadu into a graveyard :
His controversial statement seemed the police justify killing 13 people closing of the sterlite copper smelter plant. His statement that protests are turning Tamil Nadu into a graveyard which left people fuming. For which the superstar also apologized and said, he didn’t wanted to hurt sentiments of people.
The Film is already banned in Karnataka:
After facing such problems the other controversy has been slapped on Kaala. This movie is already banned in Karnataka after which a defamation case has been filed against this movie by a journalist named Jawahar Nadar.
The film is basically based on journalist’s father S Thiraviam Nadar. According to the journalist his father has been showed as a negative personality. Jawhar Nadar also told, his father is not involved in any illegal activity. He used to stay in Thoothikudi and later on shifted to Mumbai in 1957.
He is also known as Gudwala Seth, Kaala Seth:
Jawahar Nadar has demanded an apology and had also a defamation suit and asked for rs 1 crore. He is waiting for the response from the Kaala team as the team is busy with the promotion.
Karnataka Film chamber of commerce has decided not to support the film. As the movie is already banned in Karnataka because of Rajnikanth’s statement made on Cauvery issues. Still he is hoping to get support from the South film chamber of Ccomerce. Despite all these problems and controversies we can see the excitement level in the public. The movie is all set to release on 6 June. The movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Malyalam,Tamil language. The film will have a grand release in USA. After Kabali this is his second project with PA Ranjith. Rajnikanth’s next project will be Don of Dharavi. The star other than Rajnikanth will be Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi and Anjali Patil.
