Dibakar Banerjee was on my wish list : Arjun Kapoor 

Arjun Kapoor recently interacted with the media for the promotion of his next film Mubarakan in Mumbai. While speaking in an interview, Arjun stated that filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee was on his wish list.

Excited about the story

• Ishaqzaade co-stars Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are reuniting on screen for Dibakar’s thriller “Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar “.
• Dibakar Banerjee is known for directing film across genres like Khosla Ka Ghosla, Shanghai, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy and others.
• Arjun was seen excited about the story of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. “This is first time me and Parineeti are pairing with each other again because of the story of the film. Dibakar Banerjee is one such filmmaker who has been on my wish list form long period of time.” He added.
• Furthermore the shooting of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar wil start in October.

• The story of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is about love-hate relationship of a couple, from two different backgrounds.

Not everyone can do comedy

• Talking about what prompted Arjun to do film like Mubarakan, Arjun replied that he wanted to work with Anees Bazmee.
• Mubarkaan has Arjun playing a double role. In addition, he says that the movie is genuinely funny and is family entertainer.
• Consequently Arjun’s last family film was Two States.”Mubarkaan is slightly more light-hearten and time pass film . In the end this also has some emotions and message to the audience”said Arjun in conclusion.
• When asked  why younger actor attempt less comedy films these days, Arjun said, “Comedy is not something that everybody can do”
• Furthermore Arjuns says that Anees must be having some faith in his  performance abilities to offer him Mubarkan.
• Mubarakan stars Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty. Anees Bazmee directed.
