And when his film hits the theaters, it’s a crazy affair with the audience thronging the theaters across the nation to watch their favorite hero on the big screen.
Guess their wait is coming to an end as soon as his next, Kaala Karikalan, a political drama directed by P Ranjith, will be releasing on 7th June.
And for now, here’s the first poster of the superstar’s upcoming release. Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn released the poster of the film on social media today.

Superstar Ajay Devgn revealed the poster on Twitter with a caption that read, “Rajini Sir’s Kaala #KingOfDharavi in Hindi on 7th June. @rajinikanth @dhanushkraja @beemji”
Rajinikanth’s upcoming gangster movie Kaala Karikalan’s second poster was released today.
It features Rajnikanth in his signature swag, sitting on a car. The film will release on 7th June, contrary to popular belief that it has been postponed.
The main plot of ‘Kaala’ revolves around the oppressed Tamils of Mumbai, and Rajinikanth will be playing the role of a feared and revered don.
The movie also features Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, Anjali Patil and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles.
This is the first time when legendary actor Nana Patekar will be seen sharing screen space with the one and only – Rajinikanth.
Directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Rajnikanth’s son in law, Dhanush, the movie is slated to release on June 7.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn is busy with “Total Dhamaal” which is directed by Indra Kumar.
It is the sequel to 2011 film Double Dhamaal and the third installment of the Dhamaal film series.
The film features Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaffrey, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in the lead.
