• The superstar shared the official poster of the film and it’s intense like the subject.
• In the poster, Akshay is seen in a formal look and has the photo of the Olympic gold medal in it.

• The film also marks the Bollywood debut of television beauty Mouni Roy opposite Akshay.
• The story of the film revolves around an Indian hockey match from 1948. Hockey will feature prominently in the plot but it is a strong human drama.

• Gold is directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
