AR Rahman to compose music for Thala Ajith ’s Pink remake?

Yes, the inside reports mention that AR Rahman has been approached to compose music for Ajith Kumar’s ‘Pink’ remake in Tamil, which is directed by Vinoth.
The claims are that Producer Boney Kapoor has already had couple of discussions with AR Rahman.
Nonetheless, the nod from the academy award winner is still awaited.
Bollywood hit film Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in pivotal roles is being remade in Tamil which will star Thala Ajith.
The remake will be directed by H. Vinoth who earlier directed THeeran Adhigaaram Ondru with Karthi in lead role.
The team of the director is working on the pre-production work of the film which is said to be progressing at a rapid pace.
And according to latest buzz, the remake might have just received another boost.
AR Rahman had scored music for some of the commendable movies of Ajith Kumar – Pavithra, Kandukondein Kandukondein and Varalaaru.
The different genre of music is still regarded as the best ever from the studios of ARR.
Now if this combination is happening, it could turn to be an amazing one. On the other hand, it is predicted that there wouldn’t be much scope for songs in this film as ‘Pink’ featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee in lead roles happen to be a courtroom thriller.
News has it that the film will have music by Academy award winner A.R. Rahman and the composer has already had couple of discussions with the director.
However, word is that A.R. Rahman is yet to give his nod for the film which will go on floors only in 2019.
Rahman had previously scored for Ajith in films like Kandukondein Kandukondein and Varalaaru, and it will be a dream come true for fans if this materialises for the Pink remake.
According to several reports, the Tamil remake of Pink will be produced by Boney Kapoor and will have Ajith reprising the role played by Amitabh Bachchan.
Ajith is currently busy with the shooting of Viswasam, his next, which is being directed by Siva.
It is also buzzed that some modifications are being done to the script like Nazriya Nazim playing the sister of Ajith Kumar.
Meanwhile, the final leg of Viswasam shoot is getting near completion and is expected to wrap up before middle of next month.
As mentioned earlier, Viswasam will be hitting screens for the festive occasion of Pongal.
