While speaking about her new project Mona Lisa said “I am super-excited to play Jhuma boudi. Two-three months back I saw the series that had Swastika in it and my friends said how popular Dupur Thakurpo was. I heard the song too and when I got a call to play this character, I was on cloud nine.”
“I keep coming to Kolkata but this is for the first time that I am here for work. I have always been fascinated with the Bengali industry and getting to play such a strong character is like a dream come true. I am really excited about this stint” she added.
Mona Lisa married her Bhojpuri co-star Vikrant Singh Rajpoot while she was inside the house of Bigg Boss. Her wedding ceremony was aired on National Television.
