Shriya Pilgaonkar, made her Bollywood debut as Shah Rukh Khan’s love interest in Fan (2016). She worked opposite the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and it was this break that has earned her further array into the Bollywood film industry.
She will be next seen in Anubhav Sinha’s ABHI TOH PARTY SHURU HUI HAI.
She has been added to the cast of Anubhav Sinha’s Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai. The film stars Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi and Saurabh Shukla.
Daughter of veteran actors Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar she has all the pedigree needed to succeed in the industry.
Shriya is also shooting for Mirzapur, a web show, starring Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey and Shweta Tripathi.
Speaking about her next film, Shriya said, “Yes, we’ve begun filming in Lucknow. It’s an outstanding script written by Anubhav Sir and I am super excited to work with these powerhouse performers who have been on my wish list of actors to work with. It’s a dream team for sure.”
Shriya was last seen in ‘Jai Mata Di’, a humour-filled short film.
The actress shared screen space with her mother Supriya Pilgaonkar for the first time. Written and directed by Navjot Gulati, “Jai Mata Di” also featured Shiv Pandit. Supriya and Shriya played mother and daughter in the film.
In 2012, she went to Harvard University for summer school, which led her to work on her own short films.
She will also be seen in MIRZAPUR, a web show produced by Excel Entertainment starring Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey, and Shweta Tripathi amongst others.
