On 10th Nov 2017, Lucknow was seen under the celebration of 5th edition of  Lucknow Literary festival at Sheroes hangout Cafe Gomtinagar. This time the theme of the fest was we, literature and politics. The reason behind choosing Sheroes for the event was that it was run by acid attack survivals and this event was dedicated to them. They are not only courageous but have also inspired many people. The literary Lucknow festival is India’s one and only festival celebrated that too in Lucknow. Literature has always been a very important part in our day to day work. Its like a culture which helps us to grab a lot of knew things and fills us with immense knowledge. The first session of the event was inaugurated by Shri Aziz Qureshi, the ex Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Mizoram. He shared his various ideologies with the people about Sanskrit language and the teachings of Pt.Jawaharlal Nehru. The whole conversation of him focused about that in modern India the reference of language has been diminished. He was dissapointed by the people’s behaviour of adapting different types of languages. This doesn’t mean he is against of it but his only issue was that people in this adaptation process are forgetting the values of origin languages like Sanskrit. He also talked about various books on literature like JAVED Nama, Aftab, Williamwordsworth, Bernard Shaw, Keats ans Shelly, Lord Byron etc. But still he praised that Sanskrit and Hindi were the best literature.

Followed by the first woman IPS officer – Parween sahiba, she also motivated the people by promoting Qureshi sahebs speech and ideologies and she believes the same.


 

The next session was followed by Divya Dutta with Ayaz Khalid, for her literature on “Me and Maa”. She first thanked Mr. Shameen Arzoo, the founder of this literary event and because of whom this event is celebrating its 5th edition. She further says that she had been in Lucknow before for casting an episode of Savdhan india at Sheroes. Her book is an autobiography of her relation with her mother and all over life. The lines- ” Ma ne apne sath chalna toh sikha dia par bina unke jeena ni seekhaya” itself conveys a strong feeling that how badly she misses her. Her mother has played a very vital role throughout her journey, right from her startup till today whatever she is. So this book is all about her lifelong memories with her mother. She has also written this book to inspire the readers that mom can be your best friend and the way she understands you, no one else can do that.. She also shares about her school memories from where she was encouraged to enter into the glamour world. She has completed her studies from a  school in Ludhiana.


After her session Kishan Kanhaiya had arrived for inspiring the youth about his book – ” from Bihar to tihar” .. Many disputes were held  and slogans called against Kanhaiya but after the involvement of Police the situation  was controlled after which he was allowed to speak. He also told his whole life journey as how he wanted to become an engineer but due o some circumstances he was unable to do so.


 After Kanhaiya’s session Mr. Shatrughan Sinha and Bharathi Pradhan in conversation with Prakash Panday for his book ” Anything but Khamosh”. This whole book was comprised of with his life long journey.. How he started to what he has achieved till now. He is a man of a versatile personality and no one can compete with this person in any way. He is different and unique in his own terms. Overall the whole sssion was full of enthusiam and many people have gathered to share the spark of this evening.
