Deepika Padukone last seen in the movie ‘Padmaavat’ with co-actors Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, and now the reports says that she will do the remake of Sridevi’s superhit movie.

Sridevi featured in Tamil, Malyalam, Kannada, Telugu and hindi film industry.
She started her career in hindi film indusrry with the film Solva Saavan in 1979.
But her second film Himmatwala opposite Jitendra proved to be Sridevi’s life changing film.
She gained popularity with Himmatwala.
But now as per the reports that Deepika will do the remake of Sridevi’s film, it is still a question that which Sridevi’s movie remake the diretors are planning for.

A source told the media “The original Sridevi film was made by a producer from the South and helmed by a Bollywood director. However, talks are on to procure the rights and remake it with Deepika”.
They further told “Nobody is willing to comment on the subject because talks have just been mooted and there are a lot of modalities involved. However, it is true that Deepika is in the know.”
Deepika’s next film is Sapna Didi based on Rahima Khan’s Life, opposite Irrfan Khan.
Before this Sridevi and Jeetendra starrer 1983 Himmatwala has gone through a remake in 2013.
2013 Himmatwala featuring Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah Bhatia was a flop at the box office.
