From ‘Bekhudi’ to ‘Dilwale’ , Kajol completes 25 years of her career 

Kajol has clocked 25 years in Bollywood and the actress expressed her gratitude to the audiences who continue to shower love on her even today. The 42-year-old actress debuted in the 1992 romantic drama Bekhudi, alongside another debutant Kamal Sadanah.

Winner of 6 filmfare awards:

• Kajol took to Twitter where she shared an old picture with her parents, actress Tanuja and director-producer Shomu Mukherjee. “Throwback to 25 years back. So much love for so long. Truly humbled!” she wrote.
• Tanuja also featured in the Rahul Rawail-directed movie, playing the actor’s onscreen mother.
• Apart from Kajol, her long-time friend and co-star, Shah Rukh Khan also completed 25 years in the film industry on June 25 this year.
• Kajol worked in some path breaking films in her 25 year long career in films like Baazigar, Karan-Arjun, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Fanaa, My Name Is Khan, Gupt: The Hidden Truth, Dushman.

• She has won Filmfare awards as many as 6 times;
• once under Best Villain category for playing negative character in Gupt : The Hidden Truth
• and remaining 5 under best actress category for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, My Name Is Khan, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Fanaa
• Kajol was last seen Dilwale which released in 2015.
• Now she will be seen in Tamil cinema after gap 20 years along with Dhanush in VIP 2.
• It is directed by Soundarya Rajaikanth and is releasing on first half of August.
