The year 2005, was a year when Anurag Basu made a great film namely; Gangster thankfully, filmmaker Anurag Basu spotted Kangana Ranaut and cast her in the hit emotional drama, Gangster (2006).
And soon enough Bollywood got its ‘Queen’.
They worked once again in Kites in 2010.
And since then we have been waiting for them to collaborate again.
Now, the latest reports suggest that the duo is all set to work on a new project starting this December.

Kangana and Anurag will reunite for a film that has been titled, Imali.
Now, doesn’t that have a beautiful ring to it? The story sure would be a tangy tale that will make audience smack their lips.
This is one reunion that Bollywood should definitely look forward to but don’t expect the actress to give you any information about the same.
Talking to Media House she said, “It’s too early to talk about Imali as we are starting the film around the end of the year.
All I can say is that Anurag is my godfather and everything I am today is because of him…
I can’t wait to go back to the beginning.”
Kangana engaged in a busy schedule
Kangana is engaged in a busy schedule and has an interesting line up of movies in the future.
She will soon be seen playing the role of Rani Lakshmi Bai in the movie Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi.
The movie is a rare attempt in Bollywood to tell the tale of bravado of Jhansi’s queen’s fight against the British Raaj Kangana has also started shooting for Balaji Telefilms’ Mental Hai Kya.
She will be at her quirky best in this movie. She will start shooting for the one with Ashwini Iyer Tiwari in October.
The movie will be a drama based on the backdrop of Kabaddi.
After finishing which she will move on to the above mentioned, Imali.
