It is commonly seen that the big budget movies take out their promotional budget from their star cast but when it comes to the regional cinema the present time it seems quite weak.
All this caught the attention of a young entrepreneur from Pune named Akshay Girme.
He sought this situation as an opportunity and provided a solution to the regional cinemas of India.

Akshay presented the digital media platform not only to the Indian regional cinema but also to the film industries of countries like Nepal and Bangladesh and took it on the international level.

Akshay saw this problem for the first time in Marathi cinema where the Marathi movies didn’t get enough attention and performed poorly in the theaters despite having great content just because of the lack of promotion.
The low budget Marathi movies didn’t have enough resources to promote their movies, that’s when Akshay Girme came to help the Marathi cinema and did the promotion of Marathi movies on his own.
All his efforts of digital promotion of Marathi movies resulted in having a huge positive impact on the Marathi cinemas and it did increase the business of Marathi movies and bought Marathi cinema to the limelight again.
The positive effect of Akshay’s digital promotion of Marathi movies got him a lot of appreciation from the Marathi film fraternity and now he has quite a good reputation in Marathi cinema.

Akshay wants to promote other regional cinemas of India as well.

He says he has seen a lot of people from Rajasthani cinema coming to Bollywood to seek better opportunity because of Rajasthani Cinema doesn’t seem to have a broad reach.
The same goes for other regional cinema artists and it’s quite demotivating for the regional cinema.
He wants to change the whole scenario of the regional cinema of all over India and help it grow bigger and help it reach to the wider audience and improve its box office collection and stabilized the industry.
