Manav Gohil to Play Aamir Khan’s Role in Dangal Inspired TV Show on Colors.
After Tantra and Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara, The channel’s next offering will be a story based on Aamir Khan’s hit movie Dangal.
Colors’ channel seems to be on a launching spree and the project has been titled Kesari Nandan.
The plot of the story will revolve around the female protagonist, who will want to follow in the footsteps of her father, a wrestler and become one.
The protagonist in question is child actress Chahat Tewani, who will be seen playing the titular character of Kesari, and the role of her father will be portrayed by seasoned actor Manav Gohil, a report in media portal stated. The reports also mentioned that a ‘lean’ Manav, had gone ahead and bulked up his body for the role of a wrestler.
The plot will be similar to the movie Dangal, with a small twist. In the show, we will see Manav’s character Hanumanth have a son whom he will be seen coaching, but will also start training his daughter, once he comes to know of her ambition to become a wrestler.
Seen alongside Manav and Chahat, will be Aastha Chowdhary, who will play Madhvi, his wife.
