Sanjay Dutt who is a famous actor commits that once he was addicted to drugs. His’ life story’ is full of controversies and struggles. He used to consume cocaine and heroin earlier. But after a few horrifying incidents, the actor decided to quit. We are eagerly waiting for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic ‘SANJU’. But, before that watch this video.
I was already a drug addict when Mom was ill:
In an old interview of Sanjay Dutt with veteran actress Simi Garewal, he admitted that he used to take lot of cocaine and alcohol. In this interview he started taking drugs in his teen age. He shared that he was emotionally alone and when Nargis Dutt ( Sanjay Dutt’s Mother) was ill, he was already a drug addict.

I used to do a lot of cocaine:
But one day he get to know that after taking drugs, he slept for two days. And in this moment he decided to quit drugs. He said, “I used to do a lot of cocaine then. And cocaine aapko upar le jata hai, toh aapko neeche aane ke liye daaru peeni padti hai (Cocaine makes you very high and to get you down, you had to drink alcohol). One day, I came home high, had alcohol and went to sleep. When I woke up, I asked the house help to get me something to eat. And he told me ‘Baba aap do din baad khana kha rahe hain (Baba you are eating food after two days)’. I looked at myself in the mirror and felt ki main 100% marne wala hoon, that was when I asked my father for help.”
I don’t remember the happy phase of my life:
Sanjay Dutt said, “I don’t remember the happy phase of my life. I was taking drugs, My Mom was ill and then her death. I never felt the complete peace.” He said that if he gets a chance to relive his 46 years …he will save his Mom, Dad and He will delete the drugs chapter.
Sanjay Dutt’s biopic ‘SANJU- One Man, Many Lives’ is slated to release on 29th July 2018. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor is portraying the role of Sanjay Dutt.
