Everyone is pretty wired today after the news broke that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas will get married in October.
All they can talk about is how the couple decided to get hitched after only dating for two months.
Preparations are already on in full swing and Priyanka Chopra has zeroed in on her wedding gown too.
While in India people are swinging between whether to feel happy for Priyanka Chopra for getting married or be upset with her for walking out of Salman Khan’s Bharat at the last moment, foreign media can’t stop gushing about the two.
Since news broke, they can only talk about how Priyanka said yes to Nick’s proposal, which took place on her birthday this month
Of course for Hollywood, it’s too much to take because only recently Justin Bieber had got engaged to Hailey Baldwin and now Priyanka Chopra -Nick.
But in all this, what didn’t catch anyone’s eye is that Joe Jonas, Nick’s brother, also got engaged to Sophie Turner last year in October.
Their nuptials are pending. So will it be a double wedding for the Jonases this year? Well, not really!
Joe had made it clear early this year that he has no interest in getting married just yet.
In a statement to Evening Standard, he had said, “No, no. We’ve been trying to take some time off while running around Europe.” Sophie told People that she is ‘holding off on wedding dress shopping” because “you never know what’s going to be fashionable next year.” So she is hinting at a 2019 wedding event.
Which means Priyanka and Nick might just get married before them.
So while they are going on double dates pretty often, a double wedding of the Jonas brothers is not a possibility at all.
But you never know…weddings are infectious! Joe and Sophie might just get inspired by Priyanka-Nick, especially since it will have the Indian flavour!
