All the stars from Bollywood were at one place on Friday. The occasion was of the screening of upcoming web series of Rajkumar Rao’s “Bose : Dead or Alive”. Bollywood celebrities like Gizele Thakral, Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Hansal Mehta, Shirish Kunder, Mukesh Chhabra, Kubra Sait, Patralekha, Rahul Den and Mugdha Godse attended the special screening.
Asking about Rajkumar’s busy schedule he said,” Not at all..This is my age to work. Look at Amit ji who at this age still killing it so we take lot of inspiration from him and learn from him”.
Talking about the web series he said, “We have got overwhelming response for the trailer of series and today people who watched it today also gave us good feedback for our series so we are very excited.” Rajkummar Rao is playing character of Subhash Chandra Bose. Asking about his haome work for the role he said, “I did lot of preparation to play role of Subhash Chandra Bose. I gained almost 13 kgs of weight to look similar to him. I read lot of books based on him, saw documentaries based on him and listen to his speeches to understand him as an individual”.
Bose: Dead/Alive has been directed by Pulkit and has Hansal Mehta as its creative producer, with whom Rajkummar has already done some remarkable work in films like Shahid, CityLights and Aligarh.
The web-series will begin from November 20.
