Richa Chadha gearing up for release of ‘Daas Dev’ says that her character Paaro from ‘Daas Dev’ is different from original novel ‘Devdas’.

Richa was speaking with media as she celebrated International Happiness Day along with underprivileged kids organized by CRY (Children Rights and You) on Friday in Mumbai.

Talking about her forthcoming movie ‘Daas Dev’, Richa said, ‘Daas Dev’ is releasing on 20th April.

It’s a modern day adaptation of ‘Devdas’ which have background of politics.

I think Sudhir Mishra has good sense of Politics and he has made really good, different and progressive love story.

In Daasdev, my character Paaro is really good and different as compared to original novel of ‘Devdas’.

On Friday, Actor Irrfan Khan revealed he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour, reacting on health issue, Richa said, “He will be fine. I am positive that He will be fine. I am not aware of his recent post but I believe in god and healing so I believe that he will be fine and that is my belief”

Talking about celebrating international Happiness Day with kids, Richa said,  “I am really glad to be here because since childhood I am aware of CRY’s (Children Rights and You) work.

It was good opportunity on World Happiness Day so we all have gathered here.

I think children are foundation of society.

If it’s a criminal or a world leader, their journey starts from their childhood that’s why it’s important to support initiatives like these.”

When asked Richa what is her definition of happiness, she said, “I think we firstly need to be happy and love our self then you can spread it in your surroundings so it is very necessary that we should realize our needs and what make us happy and stay true to that because greed and ambition has no limits so, it’s important find happiness within yourself especially in our field where each Friday has different story and everything is so unpredictable then, it’s very important to find happiness inside”

When asked Richa whether she is happy person in real life, she said, “Actually, I am quite happy person.

I think my work, family, friends and cats give me lot happiness.

My hobbies like music and writing makes me happy apart from my work.

I think we all somehow lose track of that as we run after money and life is so fickle that you die overnight so I feel it’s important to be true and happy everyday”

Recently, Richa Chadda and her beloved boyfriend were stopped at the 90th Academy Awards so when asked Richa whether she is keen do films in Hollywood, she said, “Why not? who will not be interested?

On the basic of Hollywood, we have made 5-6 industries here in India, like Bollywood, Tollywood, Mollywood, Lollywood so If I get an opportunity to work in Original industry, then definitely, It will be lot of fun”
