Just after Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla’s grand Shimla wedding, another TV couple gets hitched.
After dating each other for two years, adorable couple Ridheema Tiwari and Jaskaran Singh tied the knot in a traditional Hindu marriage at a suburban hotel in Mumbai.
The Love birds met on the sets of the TV show, Do Dil Ek Jaan in the year 2013.
After becoming friends, they felt a strong connection between them and slowly love blossomed.
It was Ridheema who popped the question last month to Jaskaran and an elated Jaskaran instantly said a ‘yes’!
While speaking about it to media, the Miley Jab Hum Tum actor stated,
“We have always wanted to get married, but never expected it to happen so fast.
Actually, I wanted to concentrate on my restaurant business for some more time.
However, a month back, Ridheema brought up the topic of marriage and we both felt that this would be the right time.
She does not have too many projects on hand and so, we will get quality time together after marriage.
Having said that, I didn’t take Ridheema seriously, initially.
It was only when she started the preparations that the reality started sinking in.
She handled all the arrangements, including my outfit and accessories, alone.”

Ridheema did suffer from pre-marriage jitters
But, Ridheema did suffer from pre-marriage jitters. Speaking about the same she said,
“I was anxious like any bride would be. However, I am happy that I am married to the man I love.
We always wanted a low-key wedding.”

Though the pre-wedding ceremonies started from Wednesday, rains played their part on Thursday and the bride and the groom had to wait for almost few hours to complete their pheras. For the grand day, Ridheema donned a pink and blue lehenga, while Jaskaran pulled off a white sherwani. They participated in all the ceremonies and made it a gala affair.
Jaskaran said, “I feel that both partners are equal and they should complement each other in everything. Since she applied the mehndi for me, I thought that it would be sweet to reciprocate the gesture.”
Both of them took to Instagram to share the news and wrote a lovey-dovey post that shows how deeply they are in love with. Check out the post here…
When Ridheema was asked by media about her post-wedding honeymoon plans, the Ghulam actress revealed, “Honeymoon can happen later. We are happy that we are married and have started a new chapter in our lives.”
