Will Bollywood superstar Salman Khan spend the weekend in jail or will he be granted bail, the decision may be out shortly when the hearing for his bail plea takes place in the Jodhpur sessions court today. The actor, who has been sentenced to five years in jail for killing two blackbucks, has spent two nights in the Jodhpur Central Jail. His bail plea was reserved for a day on Friday by judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi, who has now been transferred to Sirohi.

Joshi will be replaced by Chandra Kumar Sonagra but it is not yet clear if he will take charge on Saturday.
The actor has been in the prison since the past two days and today, his bail hearing was heard at the Jodhpur Court. His sisters Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Agnihotri also arrived in the court.
The actor has been granted a bail on a bail bond of Rs 50,000.

After the sentence was announced, he was taken to the Jodhpur Central Jail where he spent the night. On Friday, his bail plea was reserved till Saturday by the sessions court as it sought a detailed report from the lower court. His bail plea was heard at 10.30 am today and after much argument, the actor has been granted bail.
