While speaking to Sanjay Dutt’s sister Namrata to know her views on the upcoming film Sanju, based on her brother’s life. It always makes sense to talk to the family in question, when the life of someone very important from their fold is going to be picturized.

The makers of ‘Sanju’ have released a trailer as well as three songs from the film.

From trailer to songs, everything in the film has got a thumbs up from the audience as well as critics.

After  Sanjay Dutt now his sister Namrata has opened up about his biopic featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.

She is a lady of few words and has not been seeing too many movies of late, but we struck up a small talk with Namrata Dutt yesterday to know her feelings about the much awaited film of the year, Sanju, based on her brother Sanjay’s highly- layered life.

Talking from Goa where is she on a holiday until next Monday,

Namrata said that she is happy with the fact that the film’s maker Rajkumar Hirani has cast Ranbir Kapoor to essay her brother’s part. “Ranbir is a good choice,” she pointed out

Namrata explained why she liked Ranbir Kapoor in Sanju;

Explaining why, Namrata said, “Because Ranbir looks somewhat like young Sanjay and he has nailed Sanjay’s mannerisms and style very well. Importantly, he is a good actor.”

No prizes for guessing that Namrata is looking forward to seeing the film, which hits theatres on June 29. “I am very curious,” she signed off.

Apart from, Ranbir, Sanju stars Manisha Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal and Karishma Tanna in important roles. The film will hit the theaters on 29th June this year.

After this, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ alongside Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. He also has films like ‘Shamshera’ and Luv Ranjan’s untitled next.
