In an emotional post, Sanjay Kapoor shared a photograph with his brother Anil Kapoor and wished his father was alive to witness a ‘special day’ for both the brothers. It’s as much a professional achievement as it is a personal one.
After the much-discussed box office clash of Sonam Kapoor-Rhea Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding and Harshvardhan Kapoor’s Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, this weekend marked another simultaneous release in the Kapoor family. The clash, which evaded the minds of movie lover, is between brothers Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor.

The multi-starrer Race 3, featuring Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah in key roles, released this Friday.
The same day when Sanjay Kapoor-starrer Lust Stories saw the light of the day.
Just that while Anil’s film is a big-screen draw, Sanjay’s film released on an OTT platform.

Sanjay got emotional on its release day as it marked an important day for both the brothers and took to Instagram to share his feelings. He wished his father was alive to see this day.
“My mother must be so proud today her 2 sons films have released on the same day #race3 in a theatre near u and #luststories on Netflix wish my father was alive to see this day! Thank you film industry for giving so much love and affection to our whole family,” he wrote alongside a photograph.

Lust Stories is a sequel to the 2013-released Bombay Talkies wherein Indian cinema’s most popular directors Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap directed four short films and presented as an anthology. Sanjay featured in Dibakar’s short film, alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Manisha Koirala, in a key role. While Race 3, one of the most anticipated films of 2018, is the third installment in the popular Race franchise.
