Sidharth Malhotra ‘s next movie- a satire with a socio-political narrative
Sidharth Malhotra already has two movies in his kitty – first being a biopic on Captain Vikram Batra and second being Shotgun Shaadi, starring Parineeti Chopra.
As the actor continues to read more scripts, guess he has finally locked down one more film under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Recently, the Katti Batti actor, Imran Khan, made headlines when he announced his turn as a director.
The actor, whose last release with Kangana was three years back, now wants to foray into direction and has even finalised a script for the same.
As per reports , Imran’s directorial debut, Slingshot, which is backed by Dharma 2.0 productions will go on the floors soon and it stars Sidharth Malhotra.
Yes, the Student of the Year actor has already started working on this project, directed by Khan, and it is said to be a satire with a socio-political narrative.
So these hunks are indeed gearing up for a project together but not like we assumed.
It would be interesting to see their work and how Imran directs Sidharth in his debut movie.
The lead actress of the movie isn’t announced yet and we hope the makers will reveal the name soon.
Imran wanted to pursue direction since a long time and things are finally falling in place for him.
A producer, that he met in February 2017, insisted that his script be reworked, sending Imran scribbling all over again.
However, now things are sorted and his project will start rolling soon.
