Tisca Chopra finally unveils “The Hungry” trailer ! 

Finally Tisca Chopra unveils the trailer of her upcoming movie, ‘The Hungry’ which is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus.

Adaptation of Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus:

• Tisca Chopra released the trailer on her twitter account. She captioned it,
• “And here it is, the trailer of the much awaited @TheHungryFilm”
• The movie also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Neeraj Kabi, Arjun Gupta, Sayani Gupta, Antonio Aakeel and Suraj Sharma in lead roles.
• Written and directed by Bornila Chatterjee, ‘The Hungry’ is about the violence that exists
• between power and love – a macabre fairy tale set in the elite circles of north India.
• The Hungry – follows Tulsi Joshi, a widow and bride to be who comes to her own wedding seeking revenge
• for the brutal murder of her first born son.
• An adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus set in contemporary New Delhi.
• The Hungry is a contemporary retelling of Shakespearian tragedy Titus Andronicus,
• set in the extravagant surroundings of an Indian wedding whilst exploring the role of the patriarch and
• corruption in Indian politics and big business.
• In addition, the trailer shows Tulsi Joshi (played by Tisca Chopra) seeking revenge for the murder of her first born but the identity of the murderer remains unknown.
• Furthermore, ‘The Hungry’ will have its worldwide premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
• However, the release date of the movie has not been finalised yet.
