After the special screening of ‘Veere Di wedding’ celebs are continuously praising the work of four beautiful girls. The fact about this film is that film ‘VEERE DI WEDDING’ is inspired by a TV show ‘Sex in the City’. The writers of this story Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri beautifully penned it. Story of this film deals with some genuine problems. Basically, the film talks about the society and their mentality and appeals to change their perspective.
The focus of ‘VEERE DI WEDDING’ is totally on all four girls who are friends since their childhood. Avni (Sonam Kapoor), Kalindi (Kareena Kapoor), Sakshi (Swara Bhasker) and Meera (Shikha Talsania) have so many moments in their life where they struggle and break the stereotype.
The attraction of this film is their humourous dialougue. “Bahar se sati aur andar se slutty, John ka John, discussions on orgasm, Apna haath jagganath” will make your mind rethink everything. The film is good but in parts. It will cater to a very limited amount of audience as it has its fair share of bold moments. But something major from the film was missing! It tried to be too shiny blinding everyone’s eyes for few moments.
Kareena Kapoor looked pretty and hot as always. ‘VEERE DI WEDDING’ is her first film after her pregnancy and she maintained the sexyness and charm. Sonam Kapoor has very few moments in the film but she performed her best. Swara – the surprise package, this lady will blow your mind with her classy and hot looks. And Shikha looked cute and gave her best effortlessly. Finally Sumeet Vyas gets his due, not fully though! He’s hilarious and is a comic relief along with Manoj Pahwa.
