Vidya Balan promotes humanitarian causes and supports the empowerment of women and this time she was spotted at the Savvy Women Empowerment Awards 2018.
Not only awards, she is also slaying at the cover page of Savvy Women Empowerment.

Vidya has done many movies related to the issues of women.
Movies like Kahaani, Hamari Adhuri Kahaani, No One Killed Jessica etc. Balan has worked on women based films.
In an earlier interview she told “I think we have a long way to go before every woman in the country feels empowered.
But I do think that with each passing day, some woman is discovering her own power,so, women empowerment is not just a national issue”.

Six Filmfare Awards: Best Female Debut for Parineeta (2005), Best Actress for Paa (2009), The Dirty Picture (2011) ,Kahaani (2012), and Tumhari Sulu (2017).
And Critics Award for Best Actress for Ishqiya (2010).
She will be next seen in the biopic of Former Prime Minister of India Late.Indira Gandhi.
She will also produce this film, this film is based on Sagarika Ghosh’s Book Indira: India’s Most Powerful Prime Minister.
