Reserving some seats for woman and providing them with Pink Auto and a different berth in the Train , is this is an appropriate solution for the security of each and every woman of our country?? We have to make a society where every gender will feel safe not only male or female but the third gender too.
The ‘Breakthrough’ organised a talk show “Cafe Talk’
Breakthrough is a human rights Institution which works for woman and girls welfare. Breakthrough organised a talk show ‘Cafe Talk’ and the topic was- Gender-Inclusive safer space. The coordinator of the show was Nadeem.
The Honourable Chief Guest were- Theater Artist and a teacher by profession Sadaf Jaffer And Suneel of ‘Breakthrough’.
Before starting the show Suneel said that first of all we need to that what is gender and what do we mean by Gender-Inclusive, and why do we need to discuss about it ? Safer space is for every Gender, and it is important to know that how we can make a Safer Space for each and every gender ? We have to take steps for it.
Sadaf Jaffer questioned that why do we differentiate genders? Why we provide woman with different berth in the train whenever woman security is questioned ?Why there is a need to draw a line between different genders?
Sadaf Jaffer further added that since childhood all the people in India are taught that genders are different and so their living too, but we all have to understand that Safer Space is a need of everyone not just one gender.
Youngsters participated in this talk show
Management student Saif told ” we need to make the students of nursery to 12th that how to make safer space”. Divita said that people consider ‘Sun’ as ‘Male’ and ‘Moon’ as ‘Female’ as a female is very sensitive and numb like ‘Moon’ and male are strong and full of anger like ‘Sun’. All we need is to get out of this thinking.
There were many students from different colleges in the programme who joined this talk show.
Breakthrough is trying to make this world a neutral world where there will be no discrimination between any gender male , female or third gender. They provide training to youngsters and to different groups so that a new breakthrough generation could bring change in the world.
