Latest trends of sarees in 2017. 

1. The Whites Family

The white family of white, off-white, cream, silver and palest pastels have emerged winners all the way in the last few fashion seasons. As Indians, we may not consider white appropriate for festive and celebratory occasions, but that hasn’t deterred B-town queens from flaunting splendid white sarees. From Sonam Kapoor to Deepika Padukone to veteran Rekha  silvery whites have found great many admirers lately. Jacqueline Fernandez rocked the white trend at Filmfare Awards 2017 Channel white saree trend by infusing playful prints, motifs or bright hues. White and red combo is a favorite in wedding sarees like Panetar. Lighter variation of this combination  can be paired with an ornate blouse for a lovely yet subtle party effect. Additionally, white net sarees in half and half designs or with heavy borders and laces are also great choices for cocktail parties.
2. Pale n Grey – but irresistibly gorgeous 
Seems like understated elegance and subtle glamour are the buzzwords now , what we are witnessing is a cult mix of the Indian and global fashion sensibilities. Greys and other rarely used staid hues are not off-limits from Indian fashion scene; they are no longer the domain of the old and elderly. However, the kind of revival of neutrals we are witnessing now is simply stupendous. And why not! These hues look great with the Indian skin tones. They, being neutral, make for great bases for embellishments, designs, prints and other colors.

 Black is eternally mystical and magical. Not just sarees, but in every ensemble, the party-perfect, slimming black has been courted by Bollywood actors for the longest time.As per the design forecasts, black did see a bit of a slow-down in the last few seasons. During Filmfare Awards 2017, saree lover Vidya Balan was spotted in a simple black saree with multi-colored striped border .

Floral designs are surely on the upswing. From sarees to borders, pallus, lehengas, blouses  and accessories  flowers are all over. Florals Sarees have a freshness that’s unmatched  and are vibrant, girly and youthful. Floral prints, floral Kalamkari designs, flowery embellishments and embroideries, spring seems to have touched all sorts of party wear and wedding sarees .                                                                                                                                                                                                      
6. Rich Indian Hand looms 
Classy and evergreen the lush Indian handloom sarees have made a major come back, thanks to avid handloom promoters, many brands and Indian silk handlooms lovers like Vidya Balan and Rekha.
