Ms Sapan Kay Cee is a Social worker by passion, a politician by choice and social worker by heart

Sapan Kay Cee, fondly called SIya, is a social worker, activist and a politician based in Delhi. She has been associated with the Indian National Congress as a politician and took the plunge into this domain only to serve people. She has remained a political consultant for different political parties after staying active in politics for more than a decade. She got the chance to see this domain and felt that this could be the right platform to give her activism a direction. She worked in different positions in the said political party. Despite being an active politician she chose to remain a social worker as well and kept her motive clear to serve the people of Delhi.

She has always been keen on the well-being of the people and society along with working for the betterment of the youth and women. She has done a decent job in the area of healthcare awareness allowing people to know about the unknown ailments and facts by distributing literature and running campaigns. As education remains the key, she leaves no stone unturned to work in this domain. She has worked in different areas including women’s empowerment along with being actively involved in building a safer kind of environment for the ladies.

This is not all, her contribution in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign initiated by the Government of India was noticed in the National Capital. She, being the president of Youth Services for Peace, has also contributed a lot to different social work. She adopted the village called Pandukeshwar District Chamoli, Uttarakhand under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana in 2015. This village is among rural areas in the state that suffered huge losses due to the Uttarakhand Tragedy damaging the bridges, health centers, schools, and several hectares of land. The village remained deprived of drinking clean water. Her adoption of this village seemed to have changed the fate of this place.
