Sri J.N.P.G College Celebrated World Environment Day! 

A conference was organized at Sri J.N.PG College, Lucknow on the occasion of World Environment Day i.e. today on 5th June. Principal of the College,Prof. S. D. Sharma, appealed to all the participants, highlighting the importance of environmental protection that we should not depend solely on the government for every work, but every citizen should take the initiative to himself, Keep the surrounding environment clean and green.

He also said:

• He appealed to the participants of B.Ed. (IGNOU) that they should make the students aware of the environment.
• And make them realize that planting trees is not enough, but take care of them completely.
• Dr. Vivek Singh, Coordinator, IGNOU Study Code- 2701 said that we have to ensure this awareness to various sections of society that minimize the use of plastic made goods.
• In the seminar, the participants of BD Ed also kept their views and gave special emphasis on the role of teachers and students in keeping the environment balanced.
• At the end of the program, Dr. Pravin Kumar, Coordinator of IGNOU Study Center, 27108, expressed gratitude to Prof. Dr. SD Sharma, Principal, Dr. Vivek Singh, Dr. R.P. Singh, Dr. Jitendra Awasthi, Dr.B. C. Tripathi and all the participants present.
