The Daan Utsav is being celebrated nation wide with every day new activities and events involving people from all backgrounds and spreading the joy of giving. On the 5th day of the Daan Utsav, many successful events were carried out by various groups and organisations in different parts of the city.

Activities Conducted on the 5th Day:

  • The First activity organised was the cloth distribution in the slum areas.
  • This was organised by UPNP plus in association with Sharnam Shansthan at Kukrail, Lucknow.
  • The next activity was conducted by Eeshwar foundation at Sohan Lal Balika Vidhyalaya.
  • This included Tree plantation, and distribution of bags and eatables among 200 girls of the same school.
  • Furthermore, Eeshwar foundation provided school fee of 10 girls studying at Sohan Lal Balika Vidhyalaya.
  • They also provided books for class 9th,10th,11th and 12th, promoting girl education.

  • Another activity was conducted at the Ballia District of Uttar Pradesh.
  • During this, Daan Utsav was celebrated by distributing wall clocks, tiffin box, stationary etc.
  • This was conducted and managed by Ballia Positive People Network with the support of some Individual donors.
  • The next event organised under the Daan Utsav was named “Pardhne ka Haq”
  • This event was organised by Empower Skill Foundation and volunteered by Vani and Akansh Srivastava.
  • Under this event, stationary was distributed in various hindi convent schools at Baraura,Hussain Bari , Campbell road and Lucknow.
  • These were the schools were the underprivileged kids study.
  • Furthermore, the teams had an interactive  session with the students and the activity turned out to a success.
  • Also Swatantra Talim NGO took children from Aashiyana and a village to La Martinier Boys schools for a football and cricket match.
  • Where volunteers Rahul, Ridhi, Vani and Shriya distributed food and also played games with kids.
