Seniors welcomed the Freshers with a fun and Frolic party! 

Draped up in colorful sarees, helping one another look perfect, clicking selfies and grooving on desi DJ traks. Not just a freshers party, but a bridge between senior students and the new batch was organised by Modern Girls’ College of Professional Studies and Modern College of Education. The Freshers party on 6th October was indeed a memorable one for all the students.

Presented a mix of different cultures:

• The Freshers’ party started with the lightening of lamp which was then followed by a group and solo dance performances.
• After which various selection rounds to choose the winner for Miss Fresher and other runner ups were conducted.
• Special fusion group dance was performed by Tanushree ,Stuti, Priyanshi and Anushka on Shape of you (classical ) and dhol mix.
• A punjabi group dance performance was presented by Aayushi and group on songs like “Tunak Tunak” “Tare gin gin ” a”Lagdi hai Thai” and many more.
• Songs were also presented by girls of different departments While Anchors Jaya and Nidhi kept the audience entertained with their anchoring.
• A Qwali on college life was performed by BJMC 3rd year students.
• Many other performances filled the evening including a stand up comedy presented by Manali and Riya Singh of B.com (Hons).
• However the star attractions were the Freshers themselves, who sparkled the stage with their oozing confidence, intelligent answers and style walk.
• Shivani Panday won the title of Miss fresher while Shreya Pandey and Shivalika were the 1st and 2nd runner up.
• Anjali Manucha was titled as Miss Confidence and  Vanishka Bajpai was titled as Miss Evening.
• Furthermore, the party was graced by, Mr. Rajiv Tuli, Director MGCPS , Mr. Sunil Tuli , Mr. H.K. Bhatia and their families,  Col. S. M. Bhagat, Administrator MGCPS & faculty members.
