End of evil ,Lucknow witnesses more than 50 local Dussehra events! 

Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, marks the victory of Goddess Durga over the invincible Buffalo king Mahishasura. The occasion is also seen as the day when Lord Ram defeated Ravana, which marks triumph of good over evil.

Celebrating Dussehra at local level:

• Dussehra was celebrated at more than 50 places with full enthusiasm across the city on Saturday.
• MADAN MOHAN MALVIYA PARK A BLOCK,Indra Nagar also celebrated dussehra by organising a Dussehra event.
• The event was organised by Tushar Pant & Chirag Handa.
• Furthermore, chief Guest of the event was Mr. Dilip Srivastava from BJP.
• The program started at 7 p.m. and was carried till late night and ended with the burning effigany of Ravan.
• People celebrated the festival with full zeal and enthusiasm.
• Similar Programs were held at other locations in the city namely
• Jankipuram, Daliganj, Badshah nagar, Indiranagar, Nishatganj, Chinhat, Vikasnagar and Aliganj.
