Pratapgarh: Samajwadi party launched cycle rally in Corona times, action taken against 59 including the district president.

 

Uttar Pradesh- In Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh, the COVID-19 infection is breaking all records day by day. A locked down has been ordered by the DM for three days. Along with this, the municipalities are requesting to the residents to stay inside their homes. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party does not want to leave any stone unturned to strengthen its roots in the region. A cycle rally was held in Aspur Devsara area under the leadership of SP District President Chitra Nath Yadav on Wednesday. SP activists took a tour of half a dozen villages while tearing down all norms of social distancing.

According to the SP district president, this campaign was run on the instructions of SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav. When the police tried to stop the cycle rally of SP, the SP leaders and activists continued to take the rally ahead in the process, pushing few
policemen. Later, on the instructions of the SP, Aspur Devsara SO registered cases against 59 SP leaders including SP district president on charges of not applying masks, not following social distancing and violating Section 144. Police has filed a case against 29 named and 30 unknown in Aspur Devsara
