Tilism-e-Gumbad: an Exhibition showing the majestic era of tombs 

On October 3rd, Eminent photographer on Awadh architecture Ajaish Jaiswal  inaugurated his 6th photo exhibition “Tilism-e-Gumbad” at Lalit Kala Academy.

Never Ending love for Imambada:

• Ajaish has always been very fond of “Shaan-e-Lucknow”, Imambarda.
• He inaugurated his photo exhibition on 3rd October named as “Tilism-e-Gumbad”
• This is time, he got caught up with the era of majestic domes and brought the domes of the monument to life in his pictures.
• Most mosques have more than one domes as they are the symbolic representation of the vaults of heaven.
• Furthermore, he photographer believes that along with the main structure, the innumerable Minerates and pillars of the Bada Imambada and Rumi Darwaza are crowned with these simple yet riveting  hemispherical structures.
• In addition, Ajaish also shares his experience while he captured the majestic beauty of the domes through his lenses.
• He has caputered the different aspects of the domes of Imambada in different angles ,which have a story of their own.Furthermore, he presented his photographs in monochrome format.
• In addition, the photo exhibition witnessed a good number of footfall on the day.
