Webinar on National Integration and Nation Building on 14 August 2021
National Integration is a positive concept to inculcate feeling of togetherness amongst diverse sections of society irrespective of caste, creed, race, custom, religion, culture and tradition. This plays a vital role in the political, economic, cultural and social dimensions of our nation by promoting social harmony and equality by bringing people together. There is a strong bonding, brotherhood, peace and tolerance and uniformity amongst different sections of society. The main aim being prosperity of our nation by preserving diverse cultures and at the same time living, respecting and working in harmony with each other. India is a perfect example of Unity in Diversity.
NCC has a big role to play by inculcating awareness amongst cadets and subsequently taking initiative from time to time by conduct of social service activities for educating the mass by spreading awareness to foster National Integration.
For the smooth conduct of proceedings on this topic senior wing girls cadets of 63 UP BN NCC, University of Lucknow organized a webinar on National Integration and Nation Building under the blessings of Group Commander Brig. Ravi Kapoor and able guidance of Col Sumeet Puri (officer Commanding) and Col Shalabh Tripathi, Adm Officer, Associate NCC Officer Capt (Dr) Kiran Lata Dangwal ma’am and the invited speaker Second Officer Ajay Chohan from Amritsar Group.
Capt (Dr) Kiran Lata Dangwal as a convener welcomed everyone attending the webinar and addressed the cadets by giving a valuable information on national Integration and nation building. She gave special emphasis on the contribution expected of youth of today and the participation of each member of society towards nation building and the significance of national integration for growth of our nation. The invited speaker Second Officer Ajay Chohan from Amritsar has shared his views and enlightened the cadets on national integration and nation building by inspiring them to take initiative and spread awareness amongst society for the cause of nation.
All the girls cadets put in their best and took active participation with full zeal and enthusiasm in the webinar. They performed different activities by giving speech, poster presentation, reciting of poems and showing videos.
Speech was given by Cdt Arya & Cdt Monika. Poetry was recited by SGT Garima Patel, Cdt Gauri & Neha followed by beautiful poster presentation by 2nd & 3rd year cadets.
Finally vote of thanks was given by Cadet Chitra Singh.
It was a very interesting and educative webinar with lots of valuable information and motivation just before when we are entering to witness 75th Independence Day the platinum jubilee of our nation tomorrow on 15th August.
It is a necessity for all of us to remain united and integrated by helping government machinery in building a powerful nation.
